The Phantom II, produced from 1929 to 1936, represented Rolls-Royce's craftsmanship at the height of the coachbuilding era — when the chassis was delivered to specialist coachbuilders who created individual bodywork for each individual customer. The result was a car of extraordinary elegance and variety, each one unique, each one reflecting the taste and means of its commissioner.
