Cancellation policy

Some items in our store may be offered to you as a subscription or as a pre-order. This Cancellations Policy explains how these purchases work, how you are billed, and how you can change or cancel them at any time.

1. Subscriptions

1.1 What you are signing up for. When you purchase a Rova subscription, you are enrolling in a recurring plan that delivers a new model kit to you on an ongoing monthly basis. You will receive repeat deliveries based on the subscription duration and frequency you select at checkout.

1.2 Introductory pricing and renewal price. Our monthly subscription is offered at an introductory price of $19.00 USD for your first box. After your first box, the subscription automatically renews at $37.00 USD per month until you cancel. The introductory price applies to the first billing cycle only.

1.3 Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically. Unless and until you cancel, your saved payment method will be charged $37.00 USD each month, plus any applicable taxes. You may cancel at any time as described in Section 1.7.

1.4 Billing date. Your first charge is taken when you place your order. Each subsequent charge is taken on the same day of the following month. If that day does not exist in a given month, you will be billed on the last day of that month.

1.5 Stored payment details. Your payment details will be stored securely by our payment processor, and you authorize us to charge that payment method for each delivery, unless you have chosen to pay in advance. If a payment fails, we may retry the charge, and we may pause or cancel your subscription if payment cannot be collected.

1.6 Price changes. We will give you at least thirty (30) days' notice by email before any change to your recurring subscription price takes effect. If you do not wish to accept the new price, you may cancel before it applies.

1.7 How to cancel or change your subscription. You can cancel or change your subscription at any time, online, with no cancellation fee. Your order confirmation emails contain a link to your order — you can manage, pause, skip, or cancel your subscription from there. You may also cancel by emailing hello@rovabuilds.com from the address on your account, and we will process your cancellation and confirm it by email.

1.8 Cancellation timing. To avoid being charged for the next delivery, please cancel at least twenty-four (24) hours before your next scheduled billing date. Cancelling stops all future charges. Your cancellation does not retroactively refund a box that has already been billed or shipped.

1.9 Mystery items. Subscription boxes are "mystery" items — the specific model you receive is chosen by us and is not disclosed in advance. That is the nature of the product. As set out in our Refund Policy, mystery items are not returnable except where they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

1.10 Damaged or missing items. If a subscription box arrives damaged or incomplete, contact us at hello@rovabuilds.com and we will make it right.

1.11 Our right to cancel. We may cancel or decline to renew a subscription at our discretion, including where a product becomes unavailable, where payment cannot be collected, or where we suspect fraud or abuse. If we cancel a subscription you have already paid for, we will refund the amount covering any undelivered box.

2. Pre-orders

2.1 Where we offer a product for pre-order, you are buying an item that is out of stock or not yet available. We may collect no payment or a partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, and then charge the full or remaining amount at a future date when we fulfill your order.

2.2 Estimated availability dates for pre-order items are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We will notify you by email if an expected date changes significantly.

2.3 You can cancel a partially paid pre-order that has not yet been fulfilled, and we will refund any deposit you have paid. If the order has already been fulfilled, you cannot cancel it, but you may request a return or refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.

4. Changes to This Policy

4.1 We may update this Cancellations Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised policy on our website. Where a change materially affects an active subscription, we will notify affected subscribers by email in advance.
