The story
About this car.
The Peugeot 9X8. No Rear Wing. Hydrogen Hybrid. The Most Radical Le Mans Prototype in Decades.
The Peugeot 9X8 made history when it appeared at Le Mans in 2022 as the most aerodynamically unconventional Le Mans Hypercar ever built — relying entirely on underbody downforce with no conventional rear wing, a technical statement that no manufacturer had dared to make at this level in years. Combined with a twin-turbocharged 2.6-litre V6 and a 200-kilowatt electric rear axle for a combined output of 680 horsepower, and wearing the striking pink Total Energies livery, the 9X8 was one of the most visually and technically arresting racing cars seen at the Circuit de la Sarthe in the modern era.
Rova designed this building kit to honor the Peugeot 9X8's extraordinary technical ambition and the French manufacturer's bold return to top-level endurance racing.
At 1:24 scale, the 9X8's dramatic wingless rear bodywork, wide forward-canted aerodynamic surfaces, and unmistakable Le Mans Hypercar proportions are faithfully captured in a LEGO-compatible model that brings one of the most technically radical racing cars of the modern era to any collection.
An exceptional build for Le Mans enthusiasts, endurance racing fans, and anyone who appreciates when a manufacturer chooses technical boldness over convention.
