The Ford GT40 Mk2. The One That Ended Ferrari's Reign.
If the Mk1 drew the battle lines, the GT40 Mk2 won the war. With a big-block 7.0-litre V8 producing 485 horsepower — replacing the earlier small-block — the Mk2 had the outright power to dominate Le Mans in a way no car had before. In 1966, GT40 Mk2s finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd outright, humiliating Ferrari in front of the world.
Rova built this kit to honor the Mk2's more aggressive look — the larger air intakes, the muscular front clip, and the purposeful stance of a car built with one goal: winning. At 1:24 scale, this is a piece of history for every motorsport fan.
